In june 1980 I had an extraordinary experience: a musical play, written and composed by me, will be produced on Broadway!
	Up to that time I had nothing to do with musical plays. But why not? It took me about three weeks to calm down. At that time I stayed at Copenhagen. One day I allowed myself as a 'famous musical writer and composer' a nice lunch downtown.
	Here the birth of ONE & ONE took place. One hour later I had brought onto paper the concept, notes for lyrics and melodies. Unbelievable, but true. I must admit it was a bit bold from me, to allow myself that nice lunch as a 'famous musical writer and composer'!
	The musical play ONE & ONE is a lovestory, which starts on the countryside and continues in New York with all its distractions. It fascinates by its simpleness. The songs are very inviting and commiting to one's memory. Harold Prince wrote to me in 1994: "Some of the music is very pretty indeed!" It has been an extraordinary pleasure to me to develop, to write and to compose ONE & ONE  for its visitors.
